Frequently asked questions

What is a digital business card?

A digital business card is a mobile-friendly web page that brings together all your contact details, links and business information in one place. With Linx it is a full mini-site that also includes an AI agent, a lead form and a CRM.

What is the difference between a digital card and a regular link?

A regular link just shows details and nothing more. A Linx digital card is a business system: it presents a branded profile, collects inquiries, manages leads and lets people chat with an AI agent.

What makes Linx more than "just a digital business card"?

Linx is not only a business card, it is a complete networking system. What sets it apart: a built-in CRM that captures leads automatically, smart routing by time, day, date or device, an AI agent that books meetings 24/7, pixel integration for retargeting, and a business referral network (LINX NET).

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. The interface is intuitive, mobile-friendly and fully available in Hebrew. You set up a profile in minutes, with no developer and no designer.

Can I update the card after it is created?

Yes, 24/7 from any device. Every change updates immediately for everyone who saved your link or scanned you.

Why a Linx card and not a free card?

Free cards just show details and nothing more. Linx includes a CRM for managing leads, an AI agent, premium design, analytics and follow-up, tools that turn a meeting into a sale.

Do I need an app?

No. Everything works through the browser, both creating the profile and for the visitor who receives it. Just a tap on the phone and the site opens.

Can I display a gallery, licenses or success stories?

Absolutely. On the mini-site you can add sections with license numbers, areas of expertise, an image gallery, written testimonials, and links to external tools such as calculators or virtual tours.

How long does it take to build a mini-site for a business?

Minutes. You upload a profile photo, write a short bio, add relevant links, and you have a professional page that opens on every scan.

What is an NFC business card?

NFC (Near Field Communication) allows wireless data transfer at close range. A Linx NFC card opens a business mini-site by tapping it to a phone, with no app required.

Does every phone support NFC scanning?

Almost every modern smartphone: iPhones from 2018 onward and most Android devices. Older devices have a QR code option.

How long does the physical card last?

The physical card is durable and can serve you for years. Every update is done digitally, with no need to print a new card.

Does the physical card need a battery?

No! The NFC chip draws the small amount of energy it needs from the scanning phone. The card never turns off and has no "battery life".

What protection does the card have?

You can mark content to be revealed only on a physical tap of the card, for a short window, and not to anyone who arrived via a shared link or QR. There is also lost-card mode and password-locked links. This is an added privacy layer, not encryption and not protection against copying the card.

Can I hide sensitive information until a tap?

Yes. You can mark content (contracts, documents, price lists) to be revealed only when someone physically taps the card, and not to anyone who arrived via a shared link or QR.

What happens if I lose the card?

There is no reason to worry. The card is only a "gateway" to the mini-site in the cloud. You can disable it with one click and keep sharing the link until a new card arrives.

Do I need to activate the card when it arrives?

No. The card arrives encoded and linked to your page, with no activation needed. When it arrives, tap it to your phone and the page opens.

Can I order a custom design?

Yes. Linx offers cards with a personal design that fits your brand exactly: colors, logo and fonts. An AI tool lets you reach stunning results even without a graphic designer.

How much does an NFC business card cost?

The physical card is a one-time purchase of ILS 250, and it includes 12 months of the Start plan on us. The software subscription is separate: the mini-site starts free, the CRM opens from the Basic plan and the AI agent from the Pro plan. There is also a yearly bundle of a plan and a card together.

Is it a one-time payment?

The physical card is a one-time purchase (separately or as part of a package), and it is yours for good. The card is personalized: until it is actually printed you can cancel it for a full refund, and if it was already sent to print, contact us and we will check. If the card has not actually been printed yet, you get a full refund. The Linx software (mini-site, CRM, AI) is a monthly or yearly subscription: you cancel the renewal at any moment, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Why not buy a cheap card from China?

Cheap cards just open a link and nothing more. No CRM, no AI, no tracking, no design. You save a few shekels on hardware but lose leads and sales.

What is the ROI of an NFC card?

A single lead that comes from a scan and turns into a deal pays back the investment many times over. With a tracking system you will know exactly how much.

Can I upgrade my plan?

Yes, at any moment, from the plans page. An upgrade is a new purchase, and the new plan opens at once. Your previous plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, with no proration. Want to move to a lower plan? Talk to us.

Is there a contract or a cancellation fee?

No. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. The monthly plan renews automatically and can be canceled at any time with one click, with access kept until the end of the month paid for. On an annual plan you cancel the renewal, and the plan stays active until the end of the period paid for.

Can I pause my subscription?

Need a break? Talk to us, and we will see together what we can do.

Can I get a refund?

Linx is a business service. On a monthly plan you cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the month paid for, with no further charge. On a yearly plan you cancel the renewal, the plan stays active until the end of the period paid for, and payment for that period is not refunded. A purchase for business purposes is not refunded, even within 14 days. Bought for personal, home or family use? Your rights under consumer protection law are preserved in full, so talk to us. A card can be cancelled for a full refund until it is actually printed. If it was already sent to print, contact us and we will check: if it has not actually been printed yet, you get a full refund. Anyone who bought before the policy was updated keeps the terms that applied when they bought. Full details in the refunds and cancellations policy.

What happens when Start or a paid plan ends?

The account moves to the free plan and your physical card keeps working, so a card you already handed out keeps opening. One page stays live (the page your card opens comes first), and extra pages and digital tags (QR or link) are switched off, not deleted, and come back when you upgrade. Your leads are kept and open for viewing again once you are on Basic or above.

How do I receive the card?

After buying, you design the card in the Studio. Nothing is printed until you submit the design, and the card reaches you up to 7 business days from the moment you submit it, with free delivery anywhere in the country.

Where is my card?

The dashboard shows "My Card Status", with the stages Ordered, Printed, Shipped and Delivered. The card arrives up to 7 business days from the moment you submit the design, and after delivery you will see "The card was delivered!" there.

What is an AI subscription for a business?

An AI subscription for a business is an ongoing service that connects an AI agent, leads, a CRM and follow-up tools. With Linx it starts from an NFC card and a mini-site that generate measurable inquiries.

What can a business AI agent do?

The agent receives inquiries, answers common questions, collects contact details and adds them automatically to your CRM. It is also connected to Google Calendar and can book meetings automatically.

Does the agent work in Hebrew?

Yes. The agent is fully adapted to the Hebrew language and the Israeli business speaking style, with RTL and workflows that suit the Israeli market.

Where do customers meet the agent?

Through the mini-site that opens when an NFC card is scanned or via a direct link. The agent is built into the browsing experience.

Does it replace a human representative?

The agent handles the first response and collects details. Complex inquiries are passed on to you with all the context.

How long does it take to set up?

Minutes. You define the field, the services and answers to common questions, and the agent starts working.

How is this different from a general AI tool?

A general AI tool helps when you open it and type. Linx is connected to the moment a customer meets the business, scans a card or leaves an inquiry, and saves the follow-up in an organized place.

Who is an AI subscription especially suited for?

For businesses that sell through trust, meetings and conversations: real estate, insurance, mortgages, consulting, law, coaching, B2B sales, networking communities and service agencies.

Can the agent book meetings?

Yes, from the Pro plan. Connect Google Calendar and the agent checks free times and books a call or meeting right from the mini-site. Using Calendly? You can embed it on your page with the meeting-booking block, and give the agent its link so it sends people who want to book there.

Who answers visitors on my page?

Your personal agent, under the name you give it, from the Pro plan. It answers from the information you entered, collects the details of people who are interested, and with Google Calendar connected it also checks free times and books meetings. Lia is the LINX assistant who helps you run your account, and she does not talk to your visitors.

Can the AI create images for me?

Yes, from the Start plan and on every paid plan (not on the free plan). The LINX image generator creates images for your card design in the Studio and a cover image for your page, within a monthly quota: 15 on Start and Basic, 50 on Pro and 100 on Scale. A "high quality" image uses 3 units of the quota.

What is AI for lead management?

A system that captures inquiries from your page: the form, the AI agent, a booking and paper-card scans, and saves each one in the CRM with a source and a status. Every lead gets an automatic score from what it left (phone, email, message length, consent, and how and where it arrived), so you know whom to handle first.

How does Linx keep leads secure?

Every lead is stored in complete isolation, and each user sees only their own data. You sign in with email and password, an email code, a WhatsApp code, or through Google or Facebook.

How do I sign in?

There are several ways: email and password, "Sign in with an email code" (no password, a 6-digit code sent to you), "Sign in with WhatsApp", or through Google or Facebook. Forgot your password? Click "Forgot password", enter the code we email you and choose a new one.

Can I export the leads?

Absolutely. Export to CSV, a Webhook connection to external systems, and the option for automations through Zapier or Make.

How many leads can I manage?

On the paid plans there is no limit on the number of leads. The system grows with you. Managing multiple users and teams requires a custom enterprise solution. Please get in touch for a quote.

Why do I need this if I manage everything on WhatsApp?

On WhatsApp it is easy to miss messages, forget to get back to a customer or lose the context. Linx keeps everything organized and prevents lost revenue.

Does it replace an existing CRM?

For many small businesses Linx can be the simple lead CRM. For businesses that work with a larger system, Linx can serve as an intake and sorting layer that centralizes inquiries from the card.

How does the CRM system work?

Every visitor who leaves their details enters the CRM automatically with a real-time alert, follow-up reminders and data export.

How do I know where each lead came from?

Every lead saved in the CRM is tagged automatically with a source: an NFC scan, a WhatsApp link, an Instagram bio, or a partner referral. That way you know what really works.

How do I get notified about a new lead?

The moment someone leaves their details through the card, you get an alert. On Telegram: the name, phone and source of the lead. By push: the name and source of the lead, without the phone, because a locked screen is visible to anyone.

Which alerts come with each plan?

From the Basic plan you get a browser push alert for every new lead (once you allowed alerts there), and you can also switch on a push alert when your card is tapped. From the Pro plan you can also get new-lead alerts by email, WhatsApp and Telegram, and switch on a daily summary, in the notifications screen in Settings.

Is the system suitable for teams and offices?

Team management is built to fit each organization, and it is in a pilot for now. Talk to us, and we will build together what fits your team.

How does the system help close hot deals?

Everyone who leaves details, in the form, in a chat with the AI agent or by booking a meeting, is saved in the CRM, and you can set a reminder to get back to them at exactly the right time (for example, before a policy renewal). Taps and clicks are counted in your statistics, without knowing who they were.

Is the information collected through the card secure?

Absolutely. All data is stored in a secure cloud with encryption, per-user access permissions and a clear privacy policy. Your leads are visible to you, to your organization's admins if the account belongs to one, and to the LINX team for support only. Every staff access is logged and shown to you in Settings.

What do visitors to my page get on privacy?

Your page asks visitors for cookie consent, and the pixels you connected load only for those who agreed. The inquiry form shows a notice that the details go to you so you can get back to them and are stored by Linx for that purpose, with a link to the privacy policy.

What is "smart routing" and how does it help me?

Smart routing lets you define automatic rules that decide where the card leads. For example: on weekdays to a service page, on Saturday to the main site. You can also route by device or expiration date. Smart routing: from Basic (up to 3 rules), unlimited from Pro.

Can I change the card destination after printing?

Yes, at any moment. Every Linx card is fully dynamic: you can change links, destinations and routing rules through the dashboard, without replacing the physical card.

How do I know if the card is working?

The built-in analytics system shows how many times the card was scanned, from which device, at which hours, and from which platforms. In addition, if you connected a pixel, you can measure conversions.

Does Linx support Meta and Google pixels?

Yes, from the Pro plan. You can connect Google Analytics (an id that starts with G-), Meta Pixel, TikTok and LinkedIn directly from the dashboard. Google Tag Manager is not supported on pages, on purpose. Every pixel fires only after the visitor consents.

Is the mini-site accessible to search engines?

Only if you choose. By default the page is marked noindex for search engines and left out of the sitemap. In the editor's Advanced tab you can turn on the Search Engines & AI switch, on every plan; the page is then marked for indexing, added to the sitemap, and given a text version and structured data (JSON-LD) that search and AI engines read.

Is there an internal AI agent for management?

Yes. An external agent for visitors that generates leads, and an internal agent for managing the system. From the Pro plan you can also ask it questions directly from Telegram.

How does Telegram connect to Linx?

From the Pro plan you can connect your Telegram account and get: instant alerts on every new lead, a daily CRM summary, and even ask the bot questions about performance, without entering the dashboard.

Can I protect links with a password?

Yes. You can set a password at the tag level or for a specific link on the mini-site.

Is a private domain an option?

Yes. From the Scale plan (ILS 99 a month) you can connect your own domain. Larger organizations have a custom Enterprise plan; talk to us about it.

Why is my campaign not showing on my page?

A campaign shows on your page when you switched it on and it fits the quota of your plan: one campaign on Basic, 3 on Pro and 5 on Scale. If it says "Off: plan limit", it will show on your page again once you upgrade your plan.

I deleted a link from my vault. What happens on the pages that show it?

If the link appears on a page, we ask what to do: "Remove it from the pages too" or "Keep it on the pages". If you keep it, the pages go on showing it as a page-only link. A link you deleted earlier that still appears on your pages waits for you as a notice on the dashboard, where you choose.

How do I delete my account?

In Settings, under "Danger Zone", click "Delete My Account". The account switches off immediately, and the deletion itself happens 30 days later. Until then one click brings everything back. Payment records are kept as the law requires, detached from the account.

How does Linx suit real estate agents?

An agent who taps an NFC card to a client at a meeting opens a mini-site with properties, an AI agent that collects requirements, and a direct lead to the CRM. No more notes and names that get forgotten.

How does Linx suit insurance agents?

An insurance agent can share a card with all their policies, collect inquiries in a conversation with AI, and track potential clients in an organized CRM.

How does Linx suit mortgage advisors?

A mortgage advisor can send a link after a meeting with all the details, collect the initial details and requirements through the agent, and manage all clients in an organized pipeline.

How does Linx suit networking and BNI?

At networking meetings cards are exchanged at a fast pace. With Linx, whoever leaves details on your page is saved as a lead with a source, and the paper cards you received can be scanned straight into the CRM (from the Basic plan). You can set a follow-up reminder on every lead.

What is LINX NET?

LINX NET (Beta, from the Basic plan) is the LINX partner network: add partners from complementary fields and share your referral link. LINX takes no commission.

What is the Ambassadors Club?

The LINX partner program, for people who recommend it. The Ambassadors Club is by invitation for now. Want to join? Talk to us.

How does the card help me win exclusivity (in real estate)?

When a property owner sees that you use advanced technology to collect and manage prospects, they understand that you are professional agents, which significantly raises the chance of exclusivity.

How does it affect presence in a networking group?

It positions you as innovative and a technology leader, and makes sure no group member forgets what you do.

I try to sign in with Google and keep bouncing back to the login screen. What now?

The system usually detects and fixes this by itself. If it persists, a "Clear everything and try again" button appears on the login screen, and one click solves most cases. Still stuck? Clear cookies and site data for linxcard.me in your browser: in Chrome go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data, tick "Cookies and site data" and clear. On iPhone: Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. After the cleanup, Google sign-in works again.

I scanned a lot of cards in a row and now it will not let me in

Wait about 10 seconds or reload the page. If the login screen comes back, close old LINX tabs and try again. There is no need to clear cookies. Every scan opens another tab on your phone, and all the tabs share the same sign-in. The browser lets only one of them handle it at a time, and an old tab asleep in the background can hold the others up for a few seconds.

Why does this happen at all?

In most cases it is a momentary collision between several open tabs of the site, not a problem with your account. Nothing was cancelled on the server, your password is fine and your data is where you left it. So the first thing to try is always closing spare tabs and signing in again, and only if it persists is it worth clearing site data.

The site looks stuck or outdated after a new release

Browsers sometimes hold on to an old version of the app. The system updates itself within moments; if something stays stuck, refresh the page twice (or Ctrl+Shift+R on desktop). In stubborn cases, clearing site data in the browser straightens everything out.

I scanned a tag and the page did not open

Check that you have an active internet connection. If the scan opened inside the camera app or an in-app browser (like Instagram), open the link in your main browser instead. If the tag still does not respond, talk to us: support@linxcard.me.
